Starting Another Award Level

Participants are encouraged to complete all sections of their current Award level before starting another level. However, if it proves challenging to complete the entire Award, participants may begin a section at the next level provided they:

  • Have completed the corresponding section in the current level,
  • Have reached the minimum age of entry for the new level,
  • Are not working on all three levels simultaneously.

Participant Time Requirements

The Award is a journey of persistence and regular engagement, often referred to as a marathon, not a sprint. While there is no set maximum time to complete an Award, participants should remain committed and avoid taking long breaks.

Participants are expected to show regular participation in their activities for Voluntary Service, Skills, and Physical Recreation. These activities should help build habits and prove what they can achieve through sustained commitment.
